How do I even start with Talisa and Terry?
These two, who came all the way from Australia, joined an intimate 50 guests from all over the world,
and celebrated their love surrounded by the beautiful abundance of the Cowichan Valley.
This whole day blew my wedding photographer mind. It was my first time shooting at Blue Grouse Winery, and I have to admit, I’ve never really been drawn to vineyard weddings.
turned that on its head.
from start to finish, was magic.
From the towering, decadent cake
to the vibrant, kaleidoscopic flowers
to the delicate (but fierce!) lace wedding dress
to the surprise (and very skilled!) first dance
to the outdoor reception illuminated by the heavens themselves.
It was intimate, thoughtful and incredibly romantic.
The guests sipped on local wines, chortling and cheers-ing as the speeches started and the tears began to flow. The mid summer sun slipped slowly into the horizon, releasing an orange and pink hazy sunset, that spilled onto the rows of ripening vines into the valley below.
These two, the truest of blue,
will go down in my history books as some of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever been lucky enough to photograph. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed taking them.
This is the story of Talisa & Terry.
This Vendor list KILLED IT. It was truly and exceptional day and I was so happy to be apart of it.
